Valuation Factor Analysis^SM is a monthly or quarterly printed service containing four information components on your corporation. The components, followed by their benefits, are listed below.

The corporation's relative market valuation under each of the 14 different standard valuation models utilized by analysts and institutional investors.

Valuation Technologies tells you which valuation models drive an institution's investment decisions, and how your company rates according to those models. This information provides key insight into how favorably your company will be viewed by the institution.

Identification of and information on institutions likely to purchase or sell stock in the client corporation.

We determine the valuation strategies used by an institution and look for a fit with your company and its unique characteristics. By analyzing the list of stocks each institution is currently buying, we can tell which stock selection methods the institution is using. By analyzing the institution's sales, we can determine its criteria for sales. In addition to a fit based upon appropriate valuation models, we look for similarity between the size of the positions taken by the institution and amount of your stock that can be easily acquired. We then provide lists and complete profiles of institutions likely to buy and which of your shareholders are likely to sell.

Information on sell-side analysts most likely to initiate coverage with a "buy" recommendation on the client company.

We provide a list, complete with address and telephone numbers, of analysts likely to add positive coverage of your company. Sell side analysts maintain coverage primarily based on industry or geography. We determine your industry competitors using risk statistics and BARRA's covariance prediction model. All companies followed by sell side analysts that currently follow your company are added to this group. Then we list all analysts with coverage of those companies, and analysts located in your geographic region. The stock selection methods used by each analyst are then reproduced to determine the likelihood of that analyst recommending your stock.

An ongoing method of measuring and tracking the progress achieved by the company in its efforts to achieve fair value.

Since valuation changes over time, we provide regular monthly or quarterly updates of the information. Valuation Technologies is the only service currently providing quarterly updates of targeting information. You need to know as soon as possible when your company's characteristics fall within the range of an institution's selection, or sales criteria.
